Project Wollsdorf
Vidaco provided custom solution for stretching full size, finished automotive leather hides, that Wollsdorf needed as integral part of newly developed process for automatic leather quality inspection. Due to very specific requirements and high quality level required in automotive steering wheel leather, requirements for the machine were very specific and no market solution was adaptable for this purpose. Machine provided the client with ability to stretch the hide in 32 axis independently with fine adjustment of force and travel for each axis.
Seamless integration with other elements of the system allowed Wollsdorf to develop this unique approach to leather inspection.
